New Cebu Films specializes in synergy-related film projects between students and filmmakers that are shot at Bigfoot’s facilities in Cebu. The maiden film offering is the underwater-themed action-thriller Deep Gold. Deep Gold will star Vietnamese supermodel-turned-actress Bebe Pham in her first leading role as Amy Sanchez, and Singaporean actress Jaymee Ong as Jess Sanchez. Also starring are Ken Arden and American model Laury Prudent. Veteran Filipino actor Joel Torre joins the international cast in the role of Ranulfo Sanchez, the father of Amy and Jess.
